Description An Antique Victorian Sterling silver sugar basket which is round in shape with a tall tapering body, an ornate swing handle and resting on four decorative feet. The body of this silver basket has a wire work frame which has been applied with vine leaves and grapes and there is an ornate border at the top edge. There is a blue glass liner that fits comfortably inside the body which completes the design. This liner has been sympathetically replaced over the years. The silver basket weighs 8.3 troy ounces without the liner.
