Description An Antique Edwardian Sterling silver and glass biscuit barrel which is round shape in design with a plain silver mount and a plain glass body with a star cut base. The circular silver lid and handle are special features of this biscuit barrel and it has been designed so that the lid opens when the handle is gently pressed to the side. The mechanism is still in perfect working order and it is unusual to find this feature on such a large item. This biscuit barrel would look stylish on the table and would be practical to use.
