Description An Antique Victorian Sterling silver and glass butter dish which has an octagonal shaped base with attractive pierced decoration around the edges, a detachable lid of the same shape and design as the base and a removable silver cow finial which sits neatly on the top of the lid. The glass dish, which has been sympathetically renewed over time, has been designed to fit neatly on the base and the lid slots comfortably on the top. This butter dish is both decorative and practical and would look appealing on the table. The silver base and lid together weigh nine troy ounces without the glass dish.
