Description An Antique Victorian Sterling silver and cut glass claret jug which has been designed in the aesthetic style with a silver gilt mount displaying flowers, birds and trees, a head motif below the spout and a hinged lid with equally appealing bamboo leaf decoration with a simple round finial on the top. The superb cut glass body is particularly attractive with etched detailing displaying flowers, birds and leaves and there is a particularly unusual etched spider within a spider's web on either side of the body. This claret jug is superior to most examples and would make a perfect addition to a collection and would look eye catching when displayed.
