Description An Antique William IV Sterling silver serving dish/meat plate made by Paul Storr which is oval shape in design with a plain body, gadroon decoration around the edges and resting on a flat base. This silver dish has been made to a high standard and would be perfect to use on the table. There is a crest on one side of the body and there are some slight knife scratches which shows it has had some natural use over the years. This silver serving dish/meat plate would make a useful addition to a Paul Storr collection.

The arms on this dish are those of Henry Preston of Moreby Hall, Yorkshire and his wife Anna crompton, daughter of Joshua Crompton of Esholt Hall, Yorkshire. They were married in 1814.
